{school} A Presidential Concert

Today, the first grade class presented a concert to their parents and the Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 2nd grade classes. The concert had a patriotic theme in honor of this week’s celebration of Presidents’ Day and George Washington’s birthday.

The following photos are various snapshots of the day featuring the first grade class and their audience. We think Mr. Cooper did a great job in pulling everything together!

The lighting was poor and you can’t keep a few hundred people all still at the same time… ESPECIALLY if most of them are wiggly 6 and 7-year olds! Because I was using a shutter speed to allow for the poor lighting, you’ll see a few blurs here and there due to movement.
