1. HOW TO ENTER: Each Basic Giveaway begins on the post date and ends on the date stated in that post. To participate in the Contest, you must visit www.lifeoverhere.com and follow the rules stated in the post describing that particular giveaway.
2. WINNER SELECTION: Winners will be chosen randomly via random.org from entries. Winning submission must be a valid entry. Only one valid entry per person will be accepted.
In the event that the entrant does not meet eligibility requirements, another random member will be chosen. The process will be repeated until a valid entry is declared the winner.
Winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the Official Rules.
3. ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning this Promotion depend upon the number of entries at the time of the drawing.
4. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: You must be a legal U.S. resident- the 50 United States or the District of Columbia (residents of Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and any other territory or possession are excluded from entry and participation). Void where prohibited by law. You must also be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your state of residence, if such age of majority is greater than 18, as of June 23, 2010. Employees of Kayecee, LLC or any sponsors of the Contest, their respective advertising and promotion agencies, their parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, as well as members of their immediate families and households (including children, spouses and siblings and/or persons living in the same households as such persons, whether related or not) are not eligible. The Contest is void wherever prohibited, and subject to all federal, state and local laws.
5. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE: ALL TAXES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.
Grand Prize will be stated in it’s respective post and approximate retail value will vary.
Winners may not request substitutions of prize winnings. All winners are solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or fees, and all such additional costs that may be incurred.
6. NOTIFICATION: Winners will be notified by email using the address provided during the registration process at the LifeOverHere.com. Winners may also be posted on the Life Over Here Web site.
7. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: Winners may forfeit prize if KayeCee, LLC is unable to contact him or her within 48 hours of first attempted notification. Any prize/prize notification returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Winners may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility/Publicity/Liability Release within seven (7) days following attempted notification. Failure to comply within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Prizes may be offered by third party companies. The prize is awarded without warranty of any kind from KayeCee, LLC, express or implied, without limitation. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for KayeCee, LLC, the company awarding the prize, and their agencies to use winners’ name, likeness and entries for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting a prize, winners agree to hold KayeCee, LLC, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Contest. KayeCee, LLC is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Contest or in the announcement of the prizes. KayeCee, LLC is not responsible if prizes cannot be awarded due to travel cancellations, delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather or acts of terrorism.
KayeCee, LLC does not guarantee delivery of prizes sponsored by 3rd party companies.
8. INTERNET: KayeCee, LLC is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by KayeCee, LLC or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Contest, KayeCee, LLC reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. KayeCee, LLC reserves the right to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date. KayeCee, LLC further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Caution: Any attempt by a contestant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, KayeCee, LLC reserves the right to seek damages from any such contestant to the fullest extent of the law.
9. NO RECOURSE TO JUDICIAL OR OTHER PROCEDURES: To the extent permitted by law, the rights to litigate, to seek injunctive relief or to any other recourse to judicial or any other procedure in case of disputes or claims resulting from or in connection with this Contest are hereby excluded, and any entrant expressly waives any and all such rights. Entrants agree that these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, United States.
10. ADDITIONAL RULES: By entering the Contest, Participants agree to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Rules, or the Contest itself, and agree to be bound by these Rules, the Terms of Service of Life Over Here and by all decisions of KayeCee, LLC, which are binding and final on all matters pertaining to this contest. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this Contest. In the event of any unanticipated occurrence that was not fully addressed by the Rules, KayeCee, LLC may modify the Rules to address such occurrence. Any changes to the Rules will be posted on the Site.
In order to claim a prize, winner will be required to supply KayeCee, LLC and 3rd party companies used for shipping with personal information which may include, but not be limited to: his/her legal name and mailing address. Kayecee, LLC is not required to supply anything other than prizes offered by KayeCee, LLC. KayeCee, LLC does not guarantee delivery of prizes sponsored by 3rd party companies.
11. PRIZE SPONSORSHIP: The prize in this Promotion is sponsored by KayeCee, LLC unless otherwise notated in the giveaway post.
